This was both more raunchy than I was expecting, and yet also deeper and more interesting than I thought it’d be.
Sarah Michelle Gellar as a contemptuous, machiavellian, sex pest is delightful. The soundtrack is fun, and often amusingly on the nose. The thing that made me really like it, though, was the ending. I was braced for something a lot more “Hollywood”, but it fortunately leaned towards following the source material.
