I thought this was going to be right up my street, but it was so very not.
It’s incredibly shallow, lacking subtlety, and doesn’t seem to quite know what point it’s making. A bunch of it just feels like a mish-mash of attention-seeking homages, and TikTok-esque “randomness” (and not even ironically so).
There are some Black Mirror-esque vignettes that are probably the best bit but they’re a pale imitation of the real thing, and they’re basically optional backstory.
Sam Rockwell puts in a good performance, but his is the only role that’s interesting enough for that.
